BEGINNINGS
Start with a stick figure that is articulated at the joints like elbows and knees. At this point, we are just trying to get the pose.

After you are happy with the pose, fill out the body with lines around the stick figure. Imagine the stick figure is a skeleton, and the lines around it are the muscle.

DESIGN TECHNIQUE
Come up with a unique and original suit that is both space suit and armor scribble all over the drawing you have made so far. It is like you are trying to ruin the drawing. Look at the scribbles, then choose the lines that you like. Go over these favorite lines and work them into the suit of space armor.

Erase the extra lines.

FINISHING TOUCHES.
Use random shapes to design a weapon.
Use shadow technique to give roundness.
Use thin, jagged lines for the distant scene.
Use short choppy strokes for the foreground.
